It's ok to indulge

Of course, what I mean by that is... Sometimes to make ourselves go on with the day to day activities, we need to treat ourselves to something nice...a fancy dress, a nice hike/walk (to get the blood moving), a nice bubble bath, a delicious homemade dinner, a piece of dark chocolate, a glass or two of red wine. Something that says "I deserve to indulge a little". I don't mean stuff yourself with a fast food hamburger, fries and a coke.  I mean something that will make you feel good about yourself, something that will make you look and feel pretty fantastic! That's what I believe indulging is all about.
What do you do to indulge?
I indulged in a ticket to Paris, for a nice cup of tea :)

Waking up to a STRESS bump!

This morning I woke up to one of those unexpected surprises on my chin... A pimple! Even taking vitamins sometimes doesn't help if you are not taking care of your body. Of course stress got the best of me. : /
What I have that helps (on the spot treatment) is Murad Acne Spot Treatment. It's a little gem, if I must say. Personally I think it's better for a night treatment than a day one, because it dries on your skin and looks a little like a bad case of eczema.
Okay... to prevent this from happening... Stop worrying about the small stuff, try to relax and take a deep breath every once in a while. It's just not worth sweating the small stuff. I have a boyfriend who is a chef, and he comes home with the word STRESS written all over his face in bright red! I know it's my job to try to give hime his space to have his relaxation wind down.
It's extremely important to relax at the end of a long day, because not only is it better for your sanity, it's better for your heart, well-being, and SKIN!
Stop stressing, take a deep breath, have a cup of tea, listen to some soft relaxing music, meditate... whatever it takes, Just do it!

Starting from within

We all want to look our best, but sometimes it can be so time consuming and irritating to have to put so much effort in to what you look like, when sometimes no one notices you... What's the point?!
I figured out, that there are many ways we can look our best by just doing the bare minimum... What's that? Yes! What I have realized about my own self, is that, if I really want to look good, I have to start from within. Water is a key element to this process, the more water you drink the healthier your skin will start to look and feel. We have to start somewhere right?
If you drink plenty of water, then why not add those vitamins to the regimen? There is a specific vitamin that I have been taking to help with my occasional pimple that will sneak up on me at all the wrong times... It's called Isotonix Beauty Blend. You can find it at www.marketamerica.com/advisedbeauty try it out and tell me how you feel, or if you see any progress with your skin. Don't forget to drink that water!
